Pacific Tank announces completion of ten tanks for the storage of palm oil in the Port of Stockton. Total storage capacity is 10,900,000 gals.

MISSION: Be the West Coast leader in tank construction, excelling in quality, value, and timeliness for our customers.

With over 300 years of combined tank and plate structure experience, it is difficult to imagine any project that Pacific Tank & Construction can’t build. Of all tank manufacturing companies, Pacific Tank’s combined experiences range from the simplest tank to complex plate structures such as wind tunnels, thermal vacuum chambers, spheres, process vessels, wet seal and dry seal gas-holders, fermenters, and beer wells.

PT&C engineering and technical services staff alone has over 100 years of experience in the design of and details of such complex structures as TES tank, both wet seal and dry seal gas-holders, digesters, floating roofs, stacks, absorbers, standpipes reservoirs. Our engineers are well placed on the code committees at API and AWWA and have a detailed and thorough knowledge of plate structures.

Complex designs requiring finite element analysis are routinely performed. Our CADD designers use the latest Autocad software and have BIM modeling experience. Our field foreman have experience constructing complex plate structures such as thermal vacuum chambers, towers, absorbers, carbon and stainless steel and aluminum spheres. We are constantly using our creativity to improve our delivery model while maintaining our safety culture.

Our TES tank diffuser systems are inherently robust and tunable to meet exacting performance criteria. The heart of the diffuser is a folder plate that allows the water to enter the tank creating minimum disturbance of the water stored thereby minimizing the thermocline depth. The diffuser can easily be dismantled and removed thru the tank manholes for maintenance or modification. The diffuser can be easily fabricated of stainless steel for long life and reduced maintenance.
